The INE-W990BT gives you wide map coverage of almost all European countries, support for maps with 3D landmarks, highway mode, advanced address input and other sophisticated features.

This Advanced Navi Station has everything you need, no matter what countries you travel in. It covers 46 Western and Eastern European countries with 29 languages for voice guidance and Text-To-Speech in 15 languages. Its enhanced POI database makes it easy to find your favourite places and to explore new areas you have never been to. It also provides a TMC tuner that always keeps you on the route with the least traffic activity.

In addition to a view of the map, this mode gives you various detailed information such as upcoming rest stops, restaurants and petrol stations. You can see the distance and estimate arrival time for more efficient route planning.

You can display the currently playing information (radio frequency, track title, etc.) in the information bar of the navigation screen.

You can simply switch between the navigation and audio playback mode with a single push of the main button. This is very useful especially on long drives when both navigation and entertainment are continuously used.

You can input postal codes for all European countries, including 7-digit UK codes, which makes searching for addresses quicker. The system even reads partial addresses. Select your own language from 33 different keypads, including Cyrillic and Greek.

Sound customising functions include MediaXpander, 6-Channel Time Correction, Preset Equaliser (10 modes) and 9-band EQ.

The INE-W990BT is compatible with the TUE-DAB1U (sold separately). Use the TUE-DAB1U DAB/DAB+ Receiver with direct touch control to add available stations to the unit's internal station list.

Built-in Bluetooth® provides hands-free phone use with Simple Secure Pairing and 24-language support. You can stream music from your phone, and compatibility with AVRCP Ver. 1.4 makes searching your library easier than ever.

While connecting to a voice dial compatible hands-free phone, you can make a telephone call by voice dial operation.

Use the Navi Station’s large display to operate your iPhone or iPod, with the advantage of Quick Search to find songs fast. And thanks to iPod Video Playback, you can also watch videos on the screen (requires KCU-461iV).

This advanced bass customisation control automatically adjusts frequency cut-off, Q factor and subwoofer level, while maintaining optimum overall sound balance. It also offers five presets for quick selection.

Within 30 days after the installed unit’s first GPS fix, you can go to www.naviextras.com to check if there is a map update available and download it free of charge. This ensures that you have the latest map data after purchase.

Download the Alpine TuneIt App, then connect your iPhone via USB or Android based smartphone via Bluetooth. Now you’re ready to use your phone as a handy interface to achieve exactly the sound you want in your car, including car and speaker / sub model selection.

The built-in Bluetooth module lets you safely use the phone without actually having to hold it. And now Alpine’s Advanced Bluetooth provides new functions for even greater driving ease. Supported by most Bluetooth-enabled phones, it allows you to easily access your phonebook with automatic updates and fast alphabet search. You can hold and switch incoming calls and also view a Speed Dial display with call history.

You can pair a total of 3 phones with the INE-W990BT. You can even stream music from one phone while making handsfree calls with another at the same time. Set your 4 most frequent called numbers for easy access in the speed dial screen.

The INE-W990BT features an anti-theft security code that needs to be input after the battery has been disconnected. This makes the unit useless to any thief

Adding an Alpine rear view camera makes reversing and parking much easier and safer. Coloured pylons appear on the screen as distance guides, and can be adjusted to match your car.

Alpine makes it easy to integrate the INE-W990BT with the factory system in your car. We have interfaces that let you operate  functions via the steering wheel remote control and use a sub-display to view information from the head unit on the gauges. It’s all part of the security concept aimed at letting you keep your eyes on the road.
